✋👀 Hand-eye coordination
Although hand-eye coordination is an instinctive developmental skillset that cannot be taught, parents can encourage children with stimulating toys and games ⚽. Hand-eye coordination can help children in various activities like catching a ball, handwriting ✍️ and life skills like feeding themselves 🥢 ! Here are some activities that are easy for you to practice with your little ones 👇
💡Cut it up ✂️ – Start cutting with simple strips of paper and slowly try to cut in different patterns and shapes. You can even offer different types of paper. You can also have her cut open biscuit and cereal packaging and foster independency.
💡Puzzles 🧩 – Not a surprise, we love our puzzles! Not only they are good for coordination, it also promotes fine-motor skills, problem-solving, attention and much more!
💡Ballgames 🏀 – Choose bigger, softer balls as they’re easier for your little ones to catch. As her skills improves, you can gradually increase the distance between you and your child.
Remember to praise your child and show them encouragement on every attempt 👏👏👏!
